I love DC gifts

Bringing a piece of Washington, DC home
Family-run. DC-made. Full of heart.

We’re a family-run Washington, DC gift shop passionate about celebrating the city’s spirit. Through meaningful gifts and genuine care we create warm, memorable experiences that let every visitor take home an actual piece of DC.

Our Brand Story

We’re a small family-run Washington DC gift shop that treats every guest like a neighbour. We’ll ask where you’re from, what brings you to the city, and who you’re shopping for. We’ll point you to the good stuff, share a local tip, and make sure you leave smiling.

People say our service is the best in the city. We think it’s because we actually talk to you. No corporate script, no sales push. Just friendly faces, fair pricing, and a relaxed, fun atmosphere that feels like DC on its best day.

Our story begins with Dad, Kadri, a man with a loud laugh, endless generosity, and a dream bigger than his first shop space: a small kiosk under an escalator. He believed that a smile could sell more than any sign. He’d talk to everyone, give more than he made, and if you needed something, he’d find a way to make it happen. That energy built our business, and you can still feel it every time you walk in.

Today five of us, Khalid, Tini, Salam, Roxy, and Shinta, run the shop with the same spirit of genuine warmth, fair prices, and a sense of fun that turns a quick stop into a lasting memory.

We serve everyone who loves DC as much as we do

We serve tourists, student groups, and locals who want to take home something real. From middle school tours to international visitors, we make shopping easy, fun, and fast.

If you’re visiting with a group, we’ll greet your students, play their favourite songs, help them find great gifts in under 20-minutes, and even take photos before they leave. Teachers always get free drinks and T-shirts, it’s our way of saying thanks.
